hi all,old git but new to the scene i guess,is that wrong?, st.albans based used to dabble thought id come and play again,running a bora v5, 18" cades,v6 valances,bib on the boot an r32 induction.workin in motorsports so have a few things up the old sleeves.looking to maybe hook up with you guys at the next meet Evil or Very Mad

Used to be registered, apparently not anymore but I'm back without the polo and with a mk1 caddy.

Ive had this for about 6 months now, really loving driving and working on it. Im at uni down in plymouth, but live just outside ware, so its been sitting in my garage during term time. Taking it down next year though, with a big coat of waxoil on the underside, should keep the rust at bay from the salt! Very Happy

Hopefully with an 2.0 ABF engine in it so i can save some money on petrol!
Just sold my old mini today as well, so im going to be investing some money back into the golf. Im doing a few things to it over easter before i go back to uni. new camchain, fix the heating, new speakers, and a tune up. Then when i get back for summer, i think im going to drop a ABF engine from a 16V mk3/seat toledo sport into it, more power and economy hopefully! It does need someone that knows what they are doing with valvers to give it a tune up though... is there anyone closer than not escorts in st.neots?

I managed to borrow a timing gun from a mate in the end after doing the cam chain. The car goes alot better now, alot more power and pulls like a train in all gears Very Happy

went out with my mate who has a saxo vts and was keeping up with him easily. all i have todo now is fix the heating and bumpers then il be happy Very Happy
